Turkey successfully tests new missile

Turkey's defense industry successfully tested a new ballistic missile on Friday (October 24). The country's missile manufacturer Roketsan confirmed the test, Defense Industry Secretariat Chief Haluk Gorgun said. Anadolu Agency

Haluk Gorgun said on social media, "A silent preparation, a moment... and a signature in the sky. A beautiful day, another successful test. The range is increasing, the accuracy of the hit is increasing. Thank you to Roketsan and those who contributed."

Turkey had already successfully tested its 'Typhoon' short-range ballistic missile system in February. In July, Roketsan chief Murat Ekinci said that tests of the improved version of the Typhoon, 'Block-4', would begin soon.
