Iran orders ambassadors from UK, France and Germany to return home

Iran has ordered its ambassadors to the UK, France and Germany to return home. Tehran has taken this decision in response to the reimposition of UN sanctions. Al Jazeera reported this on Saturday (September 27) quoting Iran's official news agency.
China and Russia have carried out diplomatic efforts to roll back sanctions on Iran. But the majority of member states did not agree. As a result, the UN sanctions are going to take effect on Iran from 6 am Bangladesh time on Sunday (September 28).
In the vote held at the UN Security Council on Friday (September 26), only four countries out of the 15 members of the UN Security Council voted in favor of the Russia-China draft resolution to postpone sanctions on Tehran for another six months, nine countries voted against it and two countries abstained. This has further increased pressure from the Western world over Iran's nuclear program. The sanctions will take effect from 6 am Bangladesh time on Sunday as scheduled. France, Germany and the UK have accused Tehran of violating the 2015 deal that was intended to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
Iran's Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday that Iran's ambassadors to Germany, France and the UK had been summoned to Tehran for talks after the irresponsible move to reinstate a UN Security Council resolution.
