The US administration is on high alert to avoid major disruptions in the global energy market. Diesel is the lifeblood of the American economy. Keeping diesel prices affordable is now the biggest challenge for the White House.

However, this situation is quite difficult to handle, because there are major risks from both sides.
On the one hand, if Europe does not release its accumulated excess diesel into the market, there could be a severe shortage of diesel worldwide and prices will remain very high.

On the other hand, if the United States were to stop exporting diesel itself, fuel prices in Europe would skyrocket, and major upheavals would begin in the entire world's energy supply system.

The US administration is taking a very sensible step to avoid these two crises. The White House's main goal is to ensure that the supply of diesel in the world market does not decrease, that prices remain within the reach of the common man, and that there is no major disruption in the global energy market.
