Trump announces new talks with Iran

A deal between the United States and Iran is imminent. Talks are starting on Monday - US President Donald Trump gave this information after announcing the cancellation of the planned attack.

He told reporters on Air Force One on Sunday (August 2).
Trump claimed that an agreement has been reached on the Strait of Hormuz. He also expressed hope that an agreement will be reached on Iran's nuclear disarmament.

At the same time, Trump also said that the three mediators canceled the planned destructive operation against Iran at the request of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. He said that the countries had urged him to move towards the agreement.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that the mediators are ready to go to Tehran. There is an indirect discussion there.

Earlier, in a post on his social media Truth Social, Trump said that Iran and US allies in the Middle East have requested him to refrain from the attack. Because the basic framework or boundaries of the agreement have already been agreed upon.

However, Iran has not yet officially responded to Trump's comments. Trump has said many times before that the war is going to end quickly through negotiations. But each time, the counterattacks have started again.

On Air Force One, Trump said that he did not want to set a deadline for when a deal with Tehran would be reached. He said, "Let's see what happens. We are ready to take action when we want to... I don't want to kill people.
