In a post on social media, Trump said, 'The Board of Peace will become the most important international organization in history and it is an honor for me to serve as its chairman.' However, he did not give details on how much money each country will contribute to the fund or participate in the stabilization force.
According to a report by the news agency Reuters, the member countries of the Board of Peace will formally announce more than $5 billion in aid for the reconstruction and humanitarian assistance of Gaza.
Meanwhile, the **Israeli** army has launched an attack on Gaza despite the ceasefire. At least 11 people were killed in attacks in various parts of Gaza on Sunday local time, doctors said. The Israeli military claims that Hamas violated the ceasefire and carried out attacks on "specific targets" in accordance with international law. Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem described the attack as a new "genocide" against displaced people.
On the other hand, the Israeli government has approved a proposal to register large parts of the occupied West Bank as "state property". The proposal was raised by hardline Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Justice Minister Yariv Levin and Defense Minister Israel Katz. Hamas condemned the decision. According to international law, an occupying power cannot confiscate land or establish settlements in occupied territory.
