Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said in a statement that Tehran is ready to negotiate on the nuclear deal if the United States agrees to hold talks on lifting economic sanctions imposed on the country.

Iran's top diplomat indicated flexibility in resolving the current impasse, saying that it is possible to renegotiate the limits on the nuclear program if certain conditions are met.

The main goal of the proposal is to revive Iran's fragile economy, which has been severely damaged by long-standing US sanctions. Ravanchi stressed that lifting sanctions would create a "win-win" or mutually beneficial situation, which would help restore stability in the Middle East. He also made it clear that Iran wants a sustainable and respectful agreement, in which its economic interests will be legally guaranteed.

This Iranian proposal is considered very important in global politics during the second term of the Trump administration. Although Donald Trump has previously pursued a policy of “maximum pressure” on Iran, this new message from Tehran could open a new window for negotiations.

The international community is currently closely watching how Washington responds to this call for talks and whether a consensus can be reached on easing sanctions in exchange for nuclear disarmament.
