Kane Scores Twice as England Beat Croatia 4-2 in World Cup Thrill

England produced an impressive second-half display to defeat Croatia 4-2 in a high-voltage FIFA World Cup clash at Dallas Stadium. After a thrilling first half ended 2-2, Thomas Tuchel's side took control after the break, with captain Harry Kane scoring twice to lead the Three Lions to victory.

England were awarded a penalty in the ninth minute when Luka Modrić was judged to have fouled Noni Madueke while attempting to clear a corner delivered by Declan Rice.

Kane's initial spot-kick was saved by Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livaković. However, the penalty was ordered to be retaken after VAR determined that defender Joško Gvardiol had entered the penalty area early and Livaković had moved off his line before the kick was taken.

The England captain made no mistake with his second attempt, blasting the ball into the right side of the net to put his team ahead 1-0.

Croatia responded in the 36th minute through Martin Baturina. A clever pass from Petar Sučić released the midfielder, whose powerful effort beat goalkeeper Jordan Pickford despite getting a hand to the ball.

England regained the lead six minutes later. Rice delivered another dangerous corner and Kane rose highest to power a header into the bottom-left corner, making it 2-1.

Croatia hit back before halftime. Mario Pašalić floated a superb ball into the box, where Ivan Perišić headed it down for Petar Musa. The striker finished brilliantly with a first-time volley to level the score at 2-2.

England restored their advantage almost immediately after the restart. In the 47th minute, Jude Bellingham collected a forward pass and surged into the penalty area before calmly placing a shot into the bottom corner for a 3-2 lead.

The Three Lions continued to dominate and eventually sealed the victory in the 85th minute. A flowing attacking move involving Bukayo Saka and Morgan Rogers ended with Saka finding Marcus Rashford in space on the left flank.

Rashford beat his defender and coolly slotted the ball into the bottom-right corner to make it 4-2, putting the result beyond doubt.

The victory gives England a strong start to their World Cup campaign and underlines their attacking strength as they continue their quest for global glory.
