For the first time in history, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held in three different countries with three grand opening ceremonies. Football fans will enjoy a great blend of cultures and eye-catching performances by global stars in three different stadiums in the three host countries - Mexico, Canada and the United States. The events will begin exactly 90 minutes before each host country's own opening match.

The opening trio of the World Cup will begin on June 11 at the historic Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The first event, which will begin at 11:30 PM Bangladesh time, will feature Latin pop star Shakira and Nigerian Afrobeats artist Burna Boy performing the official theme song of this year's tournament, 'Dai Dai'. The event, which will be a mix of Mexican tradition and modern Latin tunes, will also feature popular stars such as J Balvin and pop band Mana.

The second opening ceremony will be held at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada, on Friday (June 12) at 11:30 PM Bangladesh time. World-renowned musicians like Michael Bublé, Alanis Morissette and Alicia Cara will perform on this stage to highlight the diversity of Canadian culture.

Finally, on Saturday (June 13) at 5:30 AM Bangladesh time, the final event of the opening ceremony will be held at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA. Popular international stars like Katy Perry, Lisa, Future and Anita of the Blackpink band will grace the stage in this eye-catching Hollywood-style event.

The main theme of these opening ceremonies of the entire tournament has been created around the FIFA World Cup trophy, which will be highlighted through the cultural identity of each country. Billions of football fans around the world will be able to enjoy this magnificent event live on television as well as various online and OTT platforms.
