Since the death of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sanjay Kapoor, there has been a family dispute over her 30 thousand crores worth of property. The ownership of Sona Comstar company and who will inherit the huge amount of property? This has created a stir in the Kapoor family.
Recently, Karisma Kapoor's two children Samaira and Kiaan approached the Delhi High Court seeking a share of their father's property. They had accused their stepmother Priya Sachdev of creating fake documents in the court. Now Priya Sachdev Kapoor has responded to that allegation. She is Sanjay Kapoor's third wife and was with him till the day of his death.
Lawyer Rajiv Nair is fighting the case on behalf of Priya in the Delhi High Court. On the other hand, Karisma Kapoor and her two children are facing lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani. Both the parties are now facing each other over the division of Sanjay Kapoor's huge property. Priya's lawyer Rajiv said that just before Karisma's two children Samaira and Kiaan approached the court, property worth Rs 1900 crore was transferred from grandmother Rani Kapoor's trust. They are not satisfied with that either. How much more do they want? He said, so it is not right to say in the court that you have not received anything. I don't know how much more property you get, it may be enough for them.
It doesn't end here, on behalf of Priya, her lawyer reminded Karisma that she has not seen you for 15 years since the divorce. Sanjay recently died while playing polo. Be a little sensitive. He said, why should Priya remain a brat despite being Sanjay Kapoor's widow?
On the other hand, the petition of Karisma's children mentioned that Priya Sachdev suddenly brought out a written will in a family meeting in July (March 21). It was understood that she had a clear intention to seize the property. After hearing the lawyers from both sides, a bench headed by Justice Jyoti Singh finally ordered Priya Sachdev to submit a list of all Sanjay's movable and immovable properties by October 9.
