Brad Pitt to show the unknown side of Hollywood

Cliff Booth is returning to the Hollywood screen. This popular character, played by Brad Pitt in the highly acclaimed 2019 movie 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', is now getting his own story. OTT platform Netflix has officially announced that the new movie is called 'The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth'. And the biggest surprise is that the screenplay is written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, of 'Fight Club' and 'The Social Network' fame.

According to Netflix's announcement, the film will be screened in IMAX worldwide for two weeks starting November 25. Then, streaming on Netflix will begin on December 23.

The new film is set in 1977, eight years after the events of the first film. Returning to Hollywood at that time, Cliff Booth will have to face a changed film world. What kind of danger awaits the character known as a stunt double this time is going to be one of the main attractions of the story.

The new film stars Brad Pitt alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen-Oo, Peter Weller, and many others. Brad Pitt and Zion Chaffin are producing.

The audience was first introduced to the character of Cliff Booth in 2019. He was a stunt double and close friend of actor Rick Dalton in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.' The film starred Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton. It grossed around $377 million worldwide. It won two awards out of 10 Oscar nominations. One of them was Brad Pitt's first acting Oscar.

The curiosity about this movie is not only about the story or the stars; the pairing of Tarantino and Fincher has also created different expectations. However, Tarantino's decision to not direct is his own. He said that he did not want to make his possible last movie as a sequel. According to him, although he liked the script, he was not encouraged enough to walk the same path again.

Netflix released a short teaser for the film during February's Super Bowl, in which Cliff Booth's voiceover is heard saying that it's wiser to let a good story move forward than to stand in the way of it.

But now that Cliff Booth is at the center of the story, the only question is, how exciting is his next 'ordeal' going to be in a changed Hollywood? The answer will be found on the IMAX screen in November.
