Terrible road accident in Mexico, at least 15 dead

The state's public safety secretary said that a trailer, a private car and a taxi on the highway were involved in the accident. The passengers died on the spot.

Yucatan Governor Joaquin Diaz Mena expressed his condolences in a message on social media X, saying, "We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. We are with them in this tragic moment."

He added that emergency services, security and health workers quickly arrived at the scene as soon as they received news of the accident and began assistance operations.
