Actress who was sexually harassed, talks about her horrific experience

Indian actress Sonarika Bhadoria, apart from 'Debo Ke Dev Mahadev', also gained wide recognition by acting in popular serials like 'Tum Dena Saath Mera', 'Prithvi Ballabh', 'Dastan-e-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali' and 'Ishq Mein Marjaba'. She won the hearts of the audience with her acting in a very short time. However, a terrible memory from her childhood still haunts her. She was sexually harassed in a restaurant when she was just 10-11 years old. Actress Sonarika Bhadoria recently revealed that bitter experience in her life in an interview.

As a child, Sonarika had gone to tie a rakhi to a cheating grandfather. After the ceremony, they went to a restaurant with their family members for lunch. That's where the unpleasant incident happened. While a manager of the restaurant was taking her from one door to another, he touched her body in a dark area in between. The man also touched her chest, Sonarika Bhadoria said.

Little Sonarika was shocked by the incident. She was not even old enough to understand what had happened at that time. The actress said that she had completely fallen silent after the incident. Far from protesting, she had not immediately informed anyone in her family about the matter. She had not even told her father about the matter yet. She feared that if her father came to know about the incident, he would be very angry with the accused. Sonarika Bhadoria even thinks that she might try to find the person even if he is not alive.

As she grew older, the actress realized the horror of the incident. Once, in her teens, she told her mother the whole story. Her mother was devastated to hear her daughter talk about such an experience. Her mother wanted to know why she had kept the matter a secret for so long. In response, Sonarika said that at the time of the incident, she did not understand what had been done to her.
