For the second time this week, multiple passenger planes in Europe have been threatened with bombs. At least 10 flights were reported to have received such threats on Thursday, with some of them diverted.

Police in the Czech Republic said they had searched four planes that had received bomb threats but found no explosives.

Meanwhile, a passenger plane was escorted to Rome's Fiumicino airport by Italian air force fighter jets. A flight from Warsaw to Brussels also landed safely due to a security threat. However, authorities said nothing suspicious was found on either aircraft.

Analysis by BBC Verify found that a flight from Dublin to Rome was also warned by air traffic control about a possible bomb threat.Earlier on Tuesday, at least seven flights in Europe were threatened with similar threats. However, no explosives were found on those planes either.
