First Lady Melania Trump is upset and disappointed with the recent rumors surrounding US President Donald Trump and his close aide Natalie Harp, according to the media outlet Semafor. The report states that the issue has also created discomfort in the White House after various public comments and speculations about Trump and Harp's relationship spread.

Last Sunday, US Senator John Ossoff made a joke about President Trump and Natalie Harp. The Democrat senator claimed that the 80-year-old US President has been involved in a relationship with his 35-year-old aide Natalie Harp, which has confused him.

The following Monday, the White House dismissed the matter as a 'baseless rumor'. Although Harp is regularly seen next to Trump at various official events and visits. Their closeness has also sparked rumors of an extramarital affair between the two. The recent absence of Melania Trump at various official events has further fueled the rumors.

Senator John Ossoff said, “The president doesn’t want to do his own thing. Instead, he wants to build his own ballroom and take Natalie on a flight in the unguarded flying palace (the new Air Force One) gifted to him by the Emir of Qatar.”

Some White House officials close to Trump expressed anger at Ossoff’s statement. White House spokesman Davis Engl called Ossoff “an embarrassing, effeminate theater worker.” He added, “John Ossoff is pretending to play the role of former President Barack Obama.”

Engel insisted, “Natalie Harp is one of President Trump’s most trusted and hard-working aides.” "Nobody cares what this worthless, failed man (John Ossoff) says."

White House Communications Director Steve Cheung called Senator Ossoff "the biggest cuckold and failure in politics" in a post on social media.

Cheung added, "Instead of disparaging hardworking people who work for our country, John (Ossoff) should look inside himself and ask himself why he is a sad, depressed man who hates this country. The reason is, he is a radical, Democrat."

When a female reporter asked Trump about John Ossoff's comments in the Oval Office on Monday, Trump said he would not comment on the matter. Instead, he became aggressive toward the reporter and scolded Ossoff.

A report by the US media outlet Semaphore said a person close to the White House told them, “One of the reasons for this aggressive backlash (by Trump) is that the First Lady doesn’t like these things.”

Harp, a former anchor for the One America News Network, has been in the US president’s inner circle for several years. But in recent months, she has been seen with him more often.
