Israel has threatened a new war in Gaza if the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas does not surrender its weapons within 60 days. Israeli Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs made the warning at a press conference in Jerusalem on Monday (February 16), local time.

These top officials in Tel Aviv say that Hamas must surrender all weapons, even AK-47s, within 60 days. They also said that the US administration had requested this deadline. And if this does not happen, the Netanyahu administration has threatened that the IDF will launch a new military operation.

The Israeli military says that Hamas fighters broke the agreement by crossing the border. Hamas has counter-complained that Israel is imposing restrictions on border points and not allowing the sick and wounded to go out for treatment. Only 811 people have crossed through the Rafah crossing. Which is one-third of the expected 2,800.

Despite the official ceasefire, Israeli brutality has not completely stopped in the Gaza Strip in Palestine. Netanyahu's forces are attacking different places every day. Many are also being killed.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Development Program UNDP has warned that it may take years to clear all the rubble in Gaza. The organization's delegation said this while visiting Gaza City on Monday (February 16) local time. They even said that they are providing many residents with employment and housing opportunities.
