US President Donald Trump has stated that the war with Iran will end whenever he decides.
This was reported by the Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera on Wednesday (October 28).
Donald Trump remarked that the conflict with Iran could conclude at his discretion. However, before the war can end, Tehran must explicitly declare that it will never develop nuclear weapons.
Trump made these comments while speaking at an election rally in Lubbock, Texas.
He recounted, "Someone asked me earlier, 'When will the war with Iran end?' I replied, 'It will end whenever I want it to.'"
Trump added that the conflict could be brought to an end very quickly, but it must be concluded "properly." To achieve this, Iran must clearly declare that it will never possess nuclear weapons.
