Trump threatens major attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities if no deal is reached

US President Donald Trump has made it clear that if no new deal is reached with Iran, the country's highly secure and secret underground nuclear facility 'Pickaxe Mountain', including important bridges and various civilian facilities, could be attacked on a large scale.

In an interview with Fox News, he warned that despite good talks with Tehran on some issues, the United States is in a very strong position. However, he expressed hope that a war situation can be avoided and that his current priority is to refrain from directly attacking Iran's power plants or bridges.

'Pickaxe Mountain', located in a mountainous area near Iran's Natanz nuclear complex, is a highly secure underground facility, which is considered the center of nuclear activities. Trump had previously commented that a major military strike could be carried out in front of this facility or at the mouth of its tunnels and that the United States is fully prepared for this.

However, in the current geopolitical situation, diplomatic talks and military pressure between the two sides continue in parallel. The US administration has made it clear that Washington will not hesitate to escalate its military campaign if Tehran does not engage in meaningful dialogue and continues to destabilize the region.
