US President Donald Trump has warned Iran that if it does not accept the US conditions to stop the war, a more major attack will be launched on the country within the next 24 hours.

Amidst Trump's warning, the US has launched new attacks on various Iranian installations. The US forces have described these attacks as 'additional self-defense operations'. Trump claimed that the US launched 49 Tomahawk missiles on Iran in the latest operation.

He also said that Iranian leaders had called him directly the previous evening and requested him to stop the bombing. According to the Fox News report, Trump replied, 'If Iran does not accept the US conditions to stop the war, then they will be bombed tonight. '

However, Trump's claim has been rejected by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In a statement, they said, 'The claim that Iranian officials have contacted Trump is completely false. This is just an excuse to avoid responsibility for war.’

Threats over the Strait of Hormuz

Meanwhile, IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Majid Mousavi warned that Iran will retaliate in the entire region if there is an attempt to destabilize the Strait of Hormuz.

He said, ‘If you want to make the sacred Strait of Hormuz unsafe, we will turn the entire region into hell for you.’

Meanwhile, shortly after the US attack, the IRGC announced that all types of shipping have been stopped through the Strait of Hormuz. According to their statement, ‘Due to the regional security situation, the Strait of Hormuz is now closed to all vessels, including oil tankers and commercial ships.’

However, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has denied Iran’s claim. According to CENTCOM, commercial ships are traveling through the Strait of Hormuz normally despite the ongoing tensions.
