President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine does not want to lose US support due to the Iran war.
Ukraine does not want to lose US support in its war against Russia due to Tehran's war with Washington - he told reporters.
"We do not want to lose the Americans," the Ukrainian leader told the media on Saturday (March 14), when they are "undoubtedly busy with the Middle East at the moment."
His comments were banned from broadcast until Sunday (March 15).
He also said, "By offering to share Ukrainian drone technology and experience, we are showing our willingness to help the United States and its allies in the Middle East. We firmly hope that the situation in the Middle East will not cause the United States to turn its back on the issue of the Ukraine war."
Earlier, Zelensky had announced the sending of experts and technology to teach the Middle East how to counter Iranian drone attacks. Then, its position against Iran gradually became clear. At one point, on Saturday (March 14), Tehran said that Ukraine was now a legitimate target for Iran because it had directly sided with the enemy in the war. If necessary, it would attack there too.
