In the interview broadcast on Friday, when could the war with Iran end? In response to the question, Trump said, "When I feel it, okay, then?"

Regarding Iran's new supreme leader, Trump said, "I think he's damaged, maybe alive in some way." Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, he said, "The United States will guard oil tankers through the strait 'if necessary'. But hopefully everything will go very well. Let's see what happens.

Regarding the Iran war, he said, "We're going to hit them very hard next week. We've already damaged them so much - it will take years for them to rebuild." Referring to the "tremendous unity" with Gulf allies, Trump said, "They're doing a very good job of protecting themselves."
