Triple century after being dropped from the team

Pakistan middle-order batsman Salman Ali Agha has turned the anger and disappointment of being dropped from the national team into strength and played a brilliant innings in domestic cricket. Salman played a career-best innings after returning to domestic cricket after being dropped from the Test squad.

Salman Ali Agha was with the Pakistan team on the recent tour of England. He also led the team in the absence of Babar Azam in the first Test of the series at Headingley. However, Salman was dropped from the playing XI for the Lord's Test after the team fell behind by a large margin against England.

He came out to bat for Kingsmen Academy against Marco IT Solutions in the opening round of the President's Trophy Grade-1. Salman came out to bat in the face of the team's disaster (after falling for 3 wickets for 72 runs) and scored a century on the first day.

But he didn't stop there. The batsman converted the century into a double century and then a magnificent triple century. His previous highest individual score in first-class cricket was 169 runs. As a result, he achieved both the milestones of his career - the first double and triple century - in a single innings.

After Salman's royal comeback after being dropped from the national team, his wife wrote a meaningful message on social media Instagram, 'There is nothing wrong with going back to basics. Sometimes it is necessary; never be arrogant. The beginning was humble, the end will be the same.'

 Salman Agha is the 23rd Pakistani batsman to score a triple century in first-class cricket.
