Speaking ahead of Argentina's FIFA World Cup Round of 32 clash against surprise package Cape Verde in Miami, Scaloni made it clear that he has no interest in engaging with allegations of bias or preferential refereeing.

"The solution is simple—don't look at social media. If you don't see it, you won't even know about these things," Scaloni told reporters.

The Argentina coach believes the nature of social media allows baseless claims to spread rapidly, often overshadowing reality.

"Nowadays, anyone can write something without any evidence, and a small issue can become enormous within minutes. I don't think these things deserve any attention," he said.

Scaloni stressed that Argentina's success has been built on collective effort rather than outside assistance. According to the World Cup-winning coach, every member of the squad and support staff has played a role in the team's achievements.

"Our success comes from the work of the entire group—from Lionel Messi to kit manager Mario De Stefano. Everyone has contributed," he said.

The 48-year-old also acknowledged that while social media has its benefits, it can easily amplify misinformation.

"Social media has positive and negative sides. Unfortunately, anyone can post anything, and it goes viral instantly. Within seconds it spreads everywhere. We simply don't pay attention to it," Scaloni added.
