Brazil fans were certain that the team that last won the final in 2002 would start the World Cup with a win against Morocco. But Brazil stumbled from the start due to chaotic football on the field.
Brazil shared points with Morocco in a 1-1 draw. Despite the poor start, former Brazilian footballer Kaka is optimistic about the Brazil team. He believes that experienced Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti will push the team's mistakes away and take the five-time world champions to a strong position again.
Kaka said, 'Ancelotti has experience in handling pressure moments in the World Cup and that can be Brazil's big strength. No team can win the World Cup in the first match.
Current world champions Argentina lost 2-0 to Saudi Arabia in the first match of last season. Everyone knows the rest of the story. Lionel Messi, the world's biggest star in classical football, took the team to the final. They won the title with a resounding victory over France. Citing the example of Argentina, Kaka said, "Even if you lose in the first match, it is possible to win the title later."
Brazil will have to go through a difficult path to achieve something big. In the match against Morocco, their players lacked rhythm. There was no concentration. There was also a lack of mentality to play as one. Neymar could not be fully fit. It remains to be seen how much dedication he can show when he returns to the team.
