German giants Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven to sign Moroccan international Ismael Saibari in a deal worth a total of €55 million.

The transfer, which had been widely reported over the past two weeks, has now been finalized after both clubs agreed on the fee for the 25-year-old midfielder.

Saibari, a key player for the Morocco national football team, is primarily an attacking midfielder but is also capable of playing as a right winger, left winger, or centre-forward. He recently grabbed the spotlight at the FIFA World Cup by scoring Morocco’s crucial goal in their 1-1 draw against Brazil national football team during the group stage.

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move on social media, posting his trademark “Here We Go” message and stating that Bayern Munich had completed a €55 million deal to secure the services of the Moroccan star.

According to Romano, Saibari, who is currently in the United States, will undergo his medical examination there before Bayern officially announces his signing.

The midfielder enjoyed an impressive campaign with PSV Eindhoven, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists in 27 Dutch league appearances this season. Bayern Munich had reportedly begun working on the transfer just days before the start of the World Cup, and the Bundesliga champions have now succeeded in bringing one of Morocco’s brightest talents to Munich.
