Actor Emraan Hashmi played the role of Shivam Pandit in the movie 'Awarapan' in 2007. This time, his comeback in the sequel is seen as a big attraction. He has taken an estimated fee of Rs 10 to 12 crores for this comeback role. He is the highest paid actor in this project. Earlier, his fee in the movie 'Awarapan' was Rs 12 crore to 15 crores.

It is believed that Shivam Pandit's story will be taken forward through new situations and new characters. The original movie was directed by Mohit Suri and starred Shriya Saran.

Meanwhile, actress Disha Patani has acted in the movie 'Awarapan 2' apart from Emraan Hashmi. She has taken a fee of around Rs 5 crores for it. And Shabana Azmi, one of the veteran actresses who played the role of a villain associated with the action thriller, received between 2 and 5 crore rupees. However, the remuneration of others including Subinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, and others who played supporting roles has not been disclosed.
