Vice Preside JD Vance is expected to represent the administration during the 25th anniversary ceremonies.

While the city has been preparing for a presidential visit on the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks, as of now, President Trump is not expected to attend.

Instead, the administration will be represented by Vice President JD Vance.

Trump is expected to commemorate the day at the Pentagon in Washington DC, and is expected to deliver remarks.The September 11 Memorial stopped allowing speeches during the ceremony after the first decade.

President Trump also skipped the 20th anniversary, which was attended by the sitting President Joe Biden and two former presidents.

He instead visited a fire station and police precinct on the East Side.
Trump last attended the Ground Zero ceremonies in 2024, during that year's presidential campaign,.The morning after, he debated Kamala Harris, who was also there, along with Biden.
