Bangladesh Jewelers Association has increased the price of gold in the country's market in 2 consecutive rounds. The last time on Monday (June 15) the price of a bhori was increased by 5,482 taka. This has increased the price of gold per bhori by a total of 12,072 taka in 2 consecutive rounds.

The second round of price increase was announced in a notification by Bajus on Monday morning. The new rate has been effective from 10 am.

Earlier, Bajus had adjusted the price of gold in the country's market on June 13. On that day, the price of a 22-carat bhori was increased by 6,590 taka and the price of a 22-carat bhori was set at 224,940 taka.

According to the new price, the current price of a 22-carat bhori (11.664 grams) of gold in the country will be 230,422 taka. In addition, the price of gold in the 21-carat Bhori will be 219,983 taka, 188,549 taka and 153,557 taka per bhori in the traditional method.

In total, this year, Bajus has adjusted the price of gold in the domestic market a total of 75 times. Where the price has been increased 39 times. The remaining 36 times the price has decreased. On the other hand, in 2025, the price of gold in the domestic market was adjusted a total of 93 times. Out of which, the price was increased 64 times, but the price of gold decreased only 29 times.

Meanwhile, along with gold, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association has also increased the price of silver in the domestic market for 2 consecutive times. The last time on Monday, the price of 22-carat Bhori (11.664 grams) was increased by 233 taka and the price of 22-carat Bhori (11.664 grams) was set at 5,365 taka. In addition, the price of 21 carat silver per bhori has been fixed at 5,132 taka, 18 carat silver per bhori at 4,432 taka and traditional silver per bhori at 3,324 taka.

In total, the price of silver has been adjusted 46 times in the domestic market so far this year. Out of which the price has been increased 24 times. And the price has been reduced 22 times. Whereas in 2025, the price of silver was adjusted 13 times in the domestic market. Out of these, the price increased 10 times and the price of silver was reduced 3 times.
