Military helicopter crashes in the United States, 4 soldiers kill

Four soldiers were killed in a military helicopter crash in the United States. The US Army Black Hawk helicopter crashed during a routine training flight in Washington state.

The Anadolu news agency reported this information in a report on Saturday (September 20).

According to the report, the US Army Special Operations Command said that the accident occurred during a routine training flight at around 9 pm local time on Wednesday.

Authorities said that the MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that crashed was carrying four soldiers. They were members of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. All four of them died in the accident.

In a statement on Friday, Commander Lieutenant General Jonathan Braga expressed his condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of the soldiers who died.

The army said that rescue operations are underway at the crash site. However, the names of the deceased will not be released at this time.

A spokesman said the helicopter lost contact with air traffic control during a routine training flight and the accident occurred shortly afterwards.
