The World Cup has just ended. Spain won the title for the second time with a great performance in the tournament. Spain celebrated the trophy after defeating last season's champion Argentina in the final.
Brazil and Argentina have already finalized the schedule of their first international series after the end of the World Cup mission. The two arch-rivals will return to the field in the FIFA international window next September.
Brazil suffered a disappointing exit after losing to Norway in the last 16 of the World Cup. The team's biggest star Neymar Jr. has said goodbye to international football. Experienced coach Carlo Ancelotti has started planning to build a new team with young players.
Brazil's first international series after the World Cup will be against Australia. The five-time world champions will play two friendly matches on September 25 and 29. The two matches will be held in Townsville and Brisbane, Australia. Both matches of the Seleção against Australia will start at 4 pm Bangladesh time.
Although FIFA has the opportunity to play another friendly match due to the long international break, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has not yet finalized the opponent.
Argentina, who finished runners-up after losing to Spain in the World Cup final, have their friendly matches scheduled. Le Albiceleste will play friendly matches against Mexico in Los Angeles, USA on September 26 and against the host United States in Texas on September 30. Both matches will start at 8 pm Bangladesh time.
