Bollywood's legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has had a successful career spanning nearly six decades. The actor, who has gained worldwide fame through his acting, has one big regret in his life. But it is not about his acting or film career. And that is, the regret of not being able to learn to play a musical instrument.

The 84-year-old Amitabh shared his regrets during a conversation with a contestant on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 18'. A content creator named Grateful asked him if he would like to relive a day of his life or experience a day he has never experienced before. Amitabh chose the latter option.

The actor said he wants to experience the day when he finally learns to play a musical instrument. Despite having a deep interest in music, he has never been able to learn it.

Amitabh said, "I had a deep desire to learn music, but it didn't happen. I feel bad when I hear singers, musicians and sitar players perform so well. I wonder why I didn't learn music too. I have collected almost every possible musical instrument at home."

He added that he decorates the musical instruments at home with flowers and garlands. He also hopes to learn to play them one day. He cites not learning to play any musical instrument until the age of 84 as his "deepest regret."

However, despite not learning to play a musical instrument, Amitabh has sung for several popular songs in his career. He made his debut as a singer with the song "Mere Paas Ao Mere Dosto" from the movie "Mr. Natbarlal" in 1979. After that, he sang for several popular songs including "Rang Barse" and "Neela Asman" from the movie "Silsila".

Amitabh returned to singing after a long hiatus in the 2000s. He sang "Kavi Nehi" with Adnan Sami in the album "Tere Chehra". Later, he also lent his voice to the songs "Hori Kheli Raghubira" and "Main Yahan Tu Wahan" in the film "Bagbaan".

Apart from this, he has also sung songs in the movies 'Bol Bachchan', 'Kahaani', 'Wazir', 'Shamitabh' and '102 Not Out'. Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 18th season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'.
