The month-long 30th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)-2026 is going to begin from January 1. The fair will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal. Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest on the opening day at 10 am. This information has been confirmed by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
EPB said that the special attraction of this year's fair will be 'Bangladesh Square', where visitors can learn about the history and heritage of the country. The Ministry of Commerce and EPB are jointly organizing the fair. More than 350 stalls and pavilions, both domestic and foreign, will participate in the fair. Several countries including India, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Singapore and Afghanistan are likely to participate. E-ticketing facilities will be available for visitors and the ticket price has been set at 50 taka. Two children's parks have also been set up for children's entertainment.
Meanwhile, the fair will be held under its previous name 'Dhaka International Trade Fair' as the previous decision to change the name has been cancelled. It is worth noting that since 2022, this fair has been organized at BBCFEC in Purbachal.
