NCP raising funds through selling products

The National Citizen Party (NCP) on Wednesday announced it will rely on the sale of T-shirts, mugs, books, training programs and online courses to raise party fund.
The party disclosed the party fund policy at a press conference at its head office in Dhaka.
NCP said they will not resort to any form of coercion or intimidation to collect party fund. If any irregularities occur, without whistleblowing, one can report the matter anonymously and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with party regulations, according to the party’s policy.
The NCP’s new framework allows supporters to pay monthly membership fees through official receipts, mobile payments, or bank transfers.
To mobilize public support, the party plans to launch campaigns such as “100 Taka Campaign” and “Choto Dan, Boro Swapno,” which it believes will reflect the people's will in its political activities.
The party also intends to raise funds from the Bangladeshi diaspora/expatriates through an online donation portal and accept corporate donations following a vetting process.
The party made it clear that it will not accept black money, funds from unknown sources, foreign governments, or any contributions linked to criminal activities.
The policy also emphasizes stipends and bonuses for its political workers.
“To build a sustainable and merit-based political movement, full-time organizers require stipends and fellowships,” it said.
“This initiative aims to help young leaders serve the public while upholding ethical standards,” the party said.
