For the third time in two days, an earthquake has been felt in the country. The last earthquake was felt in the capital at 6:06 pm on Saturday (November 22).

The Meteorological Department said that two earthquakes were felt in a gap of one second on Saturday evening. Of these, the first earthquake was felt at 6:06 pm and 4 seconds. The magnitude was 3.7. Then the second earthquake was felt again at 6:06 pm and 5 seconds. The magnitude was 4.3 on the Richter scale.

The first of the two earthquakes originated in Badda in the capital. Its magnitude was 3.7 on the Richter scale and the other originated in Narsingdi with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale.

Earlier, an earthquake was also felt in the country at 10:36 am on Saturday. The mild earthquake also originated in Palash in Narsingdi. The magnitude of which was 3.3 on the Richter scale.

Earlier, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit the country on Friday (November 21). The earthquake was felt in various parts of the country, including the capital Dhaka, at 10:38 am that day. Its epicenter was Madhavadi in Narsingdi.

So far, 10 people have been reported to have lost their lives across the country in Friday's moderate earthquake. In addition, at least 400 people were injured across the country by bricks falling on their heads from buildings during the earthquake and jumping from buildings in panic.
