Actress and singer Lindsay Lohan has surprised fans with a candid admission about her music career, revealing that she still writes songs despite not releasing new material for years.

Lohan, who rose to pop stardom with her debut album “Speak” (2004) and followed it with “A Little More Personal (Raw)” (2005), told Bustle:

“I love making music. It’s all about timing for me. I still write, so I have some stuff written down.”

The star hinted she might collaborate with her sister Ali Lohan, praising her sibling’s songwriting and “insane” vocals.

Although she has no immediate plans to release an album, Lohan admitted she may finally share the full version of her 2019 track “Xanax” with fans.

“I know, I have to. It’s annoying already. I have to discuss it with the label,” she said.

Lohan has recently returned to the spotlight with her film “Freakier Friday”, the sequel to the 2003 hit Freaky Friday. In the movie, her character Anna Coleman reunites with her girl band Pink Slip and performs an original track, sparking renewed interest in her musical side.
