Peshwar beef is a traditional and popular beef dish from the Peshawar region of Pakistan. It is cooked with little spices, the meat's own flavor, a little ginger-garlic, green chilies and ghee, with whole potatoes, onions and garlic on low heat. This makes the meat very soft.

Peshawar beef is a popular dish among foodies. Here, the cooking is done with meat fat instead of spices and oil.

Ingredients

2 kg beef, 1.5 tablespoons salt, 1 tablespoon black pepper, 4 Bombay chilies, 6-7 ginger slices, 4 onions, 4 garlic, 4-5 tomatoes, 6 potatoes, half a cup of oil, half a cup of ghee.

Preparation method

Wash the meat well and drain the water. It is better if the pieces of meat are large. Take the fat and large tubes. Add salt to the meat and leave it for 30 minutes. Fry the meat well with ghee and oil in a pot. Now add all the ingredients and keep it on the stove for about an hour on low heat. No water should be added. The water that comes out of the meat when it is grated will be boiled in that water. When the meat is cooked, turn off the stove and serve it hot. You can eat Peshwari Beef with paratha, pulao, rice.
