When you go out in the summer heat, your body gets wet with sweat, which can easily lead to dehydration. Along with this, headaches and other physical problems also occur. However, the most dangerous is heat stroke, which can even cause loss of life.

According to experts, the idea that heat stroke occurs only when you are in the sun is not correct. It can also occur even if you are in a closed, hot and humid environment for a long time. Even indoors, sitting or lying down, and even at night, there is a risk of heatstroke.

In case of heat stroke, the body temperature can rise abnormally to 40 degrees Celsius or more. This condition is created when the body cannot release excess heat, resulting in dilation of blood vessels and various complications.

Its symptoms include dizziness, pressure on the chest, weakness of the arms and legs, headache, etc. Sometimes the patient may fall without being able to stand and blood pressure may drop.

In such a situation, the patient should be taken to a cool place quickly. If possible, it is better to keep him in an air-conditioned room. It is important to wet the body with cold water, loosen the clothes and take it to the hospital quickly.

To avoid heatstroke, one should avoid going out in the strong sun, especially at noon. When going out, it is better to use an umbrella or hat and cover the body.

It is necessary to wait for a while before going out of the AC and directly into the sun, so that the body can adapt to the outside temperature.

When going out in the sun, it is important to keep water with you and drink it regularly. Drinking ORS is more beneficial. One should not stay in the sun for a long time and rest in the shade occasionally.
