Shakib and Mithila sat side by side on the plane, where did they go?

Dhaka's top film star Shakib Khan and actress Tanzia Zaman Mithila are sitting side by side on a plane. After a picture of the pair went viral on social media, fans wondered where they were suddenly going together.

The curiosity of the fans has been put to rest through a Facebook post by Mithila. It is learnt that the two stars left Dhaka not for the shooting of any new movie; rather, they left Dhaka to attend an award ceremony held in New York, USA. They have already reached New York safely.

The model and actress shared a photo of the flight as well as the official poster of the event in a Facebook post.

Mithila captioned the pictures, "Agun and Elina are coming to the Dhallywood Awards, see you in New York!"  

In the movie 'Rockstar', which was released in theaters, Shakib Khan's character was named 'Agun' and Mithila played the role of 'Elena'. The two stars confirmed their trip to New York together, mentioning the names of the two characters in that movie.

The 'Dhallywood Awards 2026' will be held on October 10 at the Evangel Church Center in Long Island City, New York. Shakib Khan will be present as a special attraction at this grand event organized by Showtime Music. Tanzia Zaman Mithila will also be seen on the same stage.
