Former advisor and one of the organizers of the July Uprising, Mahfuz Alam, has announced that he will conduct political activities on these three issues.

In a status on social media Facebook on Friday, he said, the three pillars of our political proposal are - Rabubiyat, Rabubiyat, and social democracy. Rabubiyat is the soul, Rabubiyat is thought, and social democracy is the body. Social democracy will be based on the experience of Bangladesh. These three pillars will ensure equality and social justice. Not only in the state, but also in the individual and society.

Explaining the issues, Mahfuz Alam said, Rabubiyat makes a person care for himself and other living beings, i.e. protecting the dignity, security, and rights of all living beings, and establishing Eco-democracy, i.e. preparing to protect life, nature, water sources, rivers, forests, ports, and the Bay of Bengal.

The social thought of responsibility and duty allows people to develop as a political community. This thought does two things. One, it develops responsible personalities with respect to rights, as a result of which people come out of the liberal individuality. Two, it builds a society of duty, where maximum friendship becomes more important than various practices of revenge. The formation of society through duty and preparation for a just fight through duty are carried out. The social thought of responsibility and duty is our cultural tool in the fight against fascism.

This organizer of the July Uprising wrote, social democracy speaks of a system/settlement, where socio-economic inequality will be eliminated and an economic system based on justice and fairness will be established. The current work in Bangladesh on the issue of social democracy is to deal with the redistribution of wealth and land, social mobility and the national bourgeois question.

Mahfuz Alam said, the main areas of our political practice are- economic restructuring, education, public health, reform of the judicial and police systems, fair economic and political system for farmers and workers, employment for youth, ensuring safe air, water, food, housing and transportation for citizens.

Politics is always changing. There is no greater teacher than the experience of fighting. We will learn as we go. If we make a mistake, we will correct it.
