No one will be subjected to harassment like Abrar for expressing dissent: Tarique Rahman

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has said that no one will be subjected to harassment like Abrar Fahad and Shahidul Alam for expressing dissent. He made these comments at the BNP's 'Plan for Building a Nation' program at the Krishibid Institution in the capital on Wednesday (December 10).

Tarique Rahman said that no matter what anyone says, the people of the country will decide at the end of the day. No one will be subjected to harassment like Abrar Fahad and Shahidul Alam for expressing dissent.

Claiming that there is clear evidence that BNP has contributed to every sector of the country, he further said that we want to make women self-reliant in stages through the family card. If we can create educated and economically self-reliant mothers, a self-reliant country can be built.

He also said that BNP will not go for mega projects because mega projects mean mega corruption. People's money will be used for the betterment of the people. Not to build new IT parks, but to make the old ones suitable for work by scrubbing the floors.

Tarique Rahman said, if we want to wage jihad against corruption or rein it in, we need to make children aware of corruption. If we cannot educate children with values, we cannot build the expected country. If we want to keep the youth society good, we need to arrange good jobs for them.

He said, if BNP can implement 40 percent of the plan it has taken to build the country, the fate of this country will change. BNP wants the people's verdict in the next election. Leaving aside these debates about who is bad and who is good, people want to know what political parties will do for the people if they come to power.

This BNP leader also said, we have to jump into war for the people. BNP wants to implement the plan to build the country with the people. History says that BNP has saved the country from the crisis every time. Therefore, there is no alternative but to win the rice husk, the country has to be saved by winning the rice husk.
