West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell is set to bring his international career to a close during the upcoming T20 International series against Australia, with his final appearance scheduled at Sabina Park, Jamaica.

The all-rounder has been named in the 16-member West Indies squad for the series, which begins on July 20. Sabina Park will host the opening two matches of the series, offering Russell the opportunity to conclude his international journey on home soil.

Russell, a two-time T20 World Cup winner, played a key role in West Indies’ title-winning campaigns in 2012 and 2016. He has remained active solely in the T20 format since 2019.

In 84 T20Is, Russell has taken 61 wickets and scored 1,078 runs, contributing as a powerful lower-order batsman and a reliable pace option.

Beyond the international stage, his explosive style and versatility have made him a coveted figure in domestic T20 leagues worldwide, where he has often played a decisive role in securing tournament victories for his franchises.
