What are the conditions to be met to get a visa bond returned to the United States

Applicants eligible for a US visa must pay the visa bond within the specified period. The US Embassy in Dhaka has said that the bond will be returned if all the conditions are met after the trip. On Monday (June 8), the embassy said that it has officially explained how the Visa Bond Pilot Program will work.

According to the embassy, ​​if the applicant is deemed eligible after the visa interview, the consular officer will provide him with instructions to pay the bond along with a direct link to pay.gov. The bond must then be paid within the specified 30 days.

Under the program, a maximum of three-month, single-entry visa will be issued. In addition, it will be necessary to enter the United States through certain ports of entry.

According to the rules, it is mandatory not to do any work during your stay in the United States and to return to the country within the specified period. If these conditions are met, the bond will be automatically canceled and the deposited amount will be returned.

It is to be noted that this visa bond will be applicable to B-1 and B-2 visas for Bangladeshi citizens. This may require a bond payment ranging from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $15,000.
