Michelle Obama Shuts Down Divorce Rumors

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has dismissed rumors of a possible split from former President Barack Obama, saying any such development would not be kept secret.

During a candid conversation on the May 1 episode of The Diary of a CEO podcast hosted by Steven Bartlett, Michelle Obama addressed speculation surrounding her marriage, emphasizing her openness and the high profile of her relationship.

“If I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it,” she said, adding that her brother and podcast co-host Craig Robinson “would know it,” too.

“I would be problem-solving in public,” the Becoming author said. “I’m not a martyr.”

Craig Robinson, a former collegiate basketball coach and executive director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, chimed in humorously, saying, “I’d be doing a podcast with Barack Obama,” if the couple were facing marital issues.

Michelle Obama’s remarks reaffirm the couple’s united front amid recurring public speculation and highlight her commitment to transparency.
