Tarique Rahman calls emergency meeting of standing committee at night

Tareque Rahman, acting chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has called an emergency meeting of the party's standing committee. The meeting will be held at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan at around 8:30 pm on Monday (November 10).
Confirming the matter of the meeting, BNP standing committee member Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said that there will be no specific agenda in Monday's meeting, there will be an open discussion. However, the meeting is certainly important.
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman will virtually preside over the meeting to be held at night from London. However, it is not known exactly what the meeting has been called for. However, a member of the BNP standing committee said that the meeting has been called to discuss an 'urgent' issue.
In this case, it is known that the meeting may discuss important issues of the party, including the implementation of the July Charter and resolving differences over the referendum and party nominations in the upcoming elections.
